The U.S. Supreme Court, divided 5-4 along left/right lines, has voted in favor of white firefighters in Connecticut who claimed reverse discrimination. More here, including a link to the full text of the decision.
ABC’s John Stossel, apparently seeking to differentiate himself from all of those other libertarian reporters on TV, has launched an amusing new blog.

This is apparently an authorized version and not some kind of pirate thing; information here. The Web site includes an endorsement of the book from Congressman Ron Paul.

The Grand View Topless Coffee Shop in Vassalboro, Maine, has been burned down in an apparent act of arson, CNN reports. Police say it was arson.
I went away for the weekend to a place that has no Internet connection, so we had to shut down for a couple of days, like the Wall Street Journal of yore. Daily postings should resume for the forseeable future.
